Whizdom The Forestias is a condominium complex in Bangkok, comprising two connected buildings and an entirely pet-friendly residential block. Designed by Dwp | Design Worldwide Partnership for Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited, the new complex includes shared spaces such as a gym, onsen, sauna, library, co-working area, children’s space, and garden, organised to support everyday routines while encouraging residents to connect with nature.

Completed in March 2024, the project is the first condominium in Bangkok to be fully pet-friendly, a detail which has influenced both the layout and choice of materials. Units range from compact one-bed apartments to larger penthouses, all designed to meet LEED and WELL certification standards. The care and thought put into the design are evident, as the studio’s lifestyle team maintained a focus on air quality, daylight, and finishes that cater to both people and animals.

Led by Narach Tanakobkul, Meedatch Inthong, and the aforementioned Dwp Lifestyle team, the design incorporates a combination of open-plan and enclosed areas, providing residents with a variety of options for living, working, or spending time with loved ones. All materials were selected for durability and sustainability, and many of the interior and exterior spaces were designed to reference the surrounding green landscape.

This care for nature and, most of all, residents’ connection with the environment seem to have been at the centre of the whole design. This culminated in the pet-friendly concept, as there’s no better way to connect with the natural world than having our best buddies always by our side.
