Hossein Farmani
Co-Founder
Hossein Farmani published the first Los Angeles based fashion magazine, VUE, in 1985. He also published FotoFolio Magazine in 1986, promoting the work of contemporary photographers across the country. FotoFolio won numerous awards and is in the permanent collection of The Library of Congress.
Hossein led the industry in philanthropy by creating a benefit auction foundation called Focus On AIDS (FOA) in 1987. This volunteer-based non-profit organization’s sole purpose is to auction photography, donating 100% of its net proceeds to AIDS research, care, and education.
In 1992, Farmani established Farmani – Yamanouchi design studio, a leading marketing agency focusing on fashion catalogues and consumer electronics industry design. As an Internet pioneer, Hossein established Artnet one of the first internet service providers in Los Angeles which landed him on the cover of the New York Times Business cover.
His first experience with Awards was as a co-chair of the Hollywood Film Awards and in 2004 he established the Lucie Awards, Oscars for photography.
Since then, Farmani has developed a growing portfolio of projects and companies.
Astrid Hébert

Director
Originally from France, Astrid Hébert graduated from the University of La Rochelle with a Master’s Degree in Marketing. She is an accomplished entrepreneurial professional with over fifteen years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Events, and Project Management.
After living for twelve years in Asia, working as Director of Sales & Marketing in the Hospitality industry, she moved back to Europe.
Astrid Hébert joined the Farmani Group in 2018 as Vice-President, opening the European office in Budapest and leading the company’s growth for two years. She is now the co-founder and Director of the 3C Group based in Switzerland.
Mirna Huhoja-Dóczy

Mirna is a marketing and communications professional with a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Zagreb and over 12 years of experience in the industry. Throughout her career, Mirna has honed her skills in the publishing industry and as a marketing and communications consultant. She initially joined the 3C Awards as a marketing expert, leveraging her experience to drive the company’s growth and strengthen its reputation. In 2023, Mirna also became the Editor-in-Chief of D5 Magazine. Additionally, she owns Bits of Brand, an agency dedicated to promoting design and architecture, offering strategic communication and targeted marketing solutions that empower clients to harness the internet effectively.
Leila Mekhdi

Leila Mekhdi is a freelance journalist and writer with a demonstrated history of working in the media and printing industry. After graduating from Prague’s Anglo-American University with a BA in Journalism & Communications, Leila has written for various media outlets, focusing on a wide range of topics—from social issues and politics to culture and lifestyle.
In her free time, she can be found doing yoga, reading a book, or spending time with her French Bulldog, Luna.

Through her experience in fields such as public relations and covering diverse subjects in international politics and public opinion, Leonor has developed strong communication and interpersonal skills. With a versatile skill set in digital tools and a keen eye for detail, she contributes to D5 with her creativity and dedication.

Helena Segon is a versatile business professional with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and creativity. With a strong foundation in marketing, finance, and business development, she drives growth through forward-thinking strategies and a commitment to positive social and environmental impact. Helena believes in leveraging technology to create meaningful change, always with an eye on sustainability.
In addition to her business acumen, Helena has a strong interest in art and design, and she recently obtained a diploma in UX design, integrating her artistic sensibility with a devotion to user-centred solutions. Outside of work, she explores her creative side through painting and engaging with design-driven projects, continually finding inspiration in the world around her. Currently, Helena manages partnerships for both 3C Awards and D5 MAG.
Alexandra Elova

Alexandra has a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, years of experience in SMM, and has finished numerous online courses, as she loves to expand her horizons. She is a big fan of art, horse riding, and spontaneous trips, so if you are up to a spontaneous trip to Peru, Alexandra will surely accompany you. Alexandra is very purposeful and believes that nothing is impossible in this world if you want to get something.
