Valencia is a city known for its architecture, history, and cultural significance, being the stage for countless events throughout the year dedicated to celebrating the art and culture of our society. There’s a bit for everyone, be it gastronomy wonders, museums to dwell in, music to dance to, or, of course, design to get inspiration from. Feria Hábitat València 2024 is one such event that any design enthusiast can’t miss.

The fair, which will be taking place from the 30th of September to the 3rd of October, will be responsible for making Valencia the number one stage for the global interior design industry, at least for a while. As one of the most significant events in the Spanish design calendar, visitors can expect to meet various of the most prestigious professionals in the industry, including designers, architects, and market experts

The event will include over 625 exhibitions, with 21% of these coming from international markets such as Germany, Italy, the UK, Belgium, France, Greece, Portugal, and Turkey. The remaining 79% will represent their home country of Spain, presenting its diversity and influence in the design industry.

Out of the hundreds of Spanish companies that will be present at the event, some of the most prestigious of the bunch are ACTIU, ANDREU WORLD, VONDOM, and GANDIABLASCO, all of which will be showcasing their latest designs in furniture, decoration, and bedding. Top designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Jaime Hayón, and Luca Nichetto will also be presenting their new works, making this fair a must in any calendar.

Held alongside Feria Hábitat València, major events such as Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium and Espacio Cocina SICI will help expand the exhibition space to over 90,000 square meters. Inside their eight pavilions, visitors will be able to get immersed in a variety of products, from contemporary decoration to advanced kitchen designs, but there’s much more to discover.

As a fair known for supporting innovation, the organisers decided to add a brand new pavilion where decoration and interior design will be given the spotlight—a 10,000-square-meter spotlight, that is. There, brands such as Kodu by Vical, Richmond Interiors, and Schuller will present their latest collections, showcasing their own selection of accessories, lighting, artwork, and outdoor furniture.

The Hotel Hábitat València could not not be mentioned when talking about this year’s Feria Hábitat València, as it will be the stage for a 500-square-meter installation by the prestigious architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez. The designs within the installation use materials such as recycled cardboard and Valencian clay to mark the importance of sustainability in the future of hospitality, something clearly exemplified in the exhibition’s theme: mimicking contemporary hotel settings to highlight the best of the Spanish habitat industry.

In addition to the main exhibition, Feria Hábitat València 2024 will also hold workshops, talks, and presentations, allowing visitors to dive into the insights and latest trends in the design world.
