The winner in the Public Park & Public Area Furniture category of the SIT Furniture Design Award, FRED, is not just another water refilling station or fountain. Its design and practicality make hydrating your dogs easier than ever. All you need to do is turn on the faucet and the fresh water will fill the bowl, which empties itself within two minutes after refilling it. This not only reduces the need for owners to empty the bowl after their dogs but also helps eliminate any contamination or spread of bacteria for the next dog to use the FRED drinking fountain.

However, the uniqueness of the FRED drinking fountain lies in not only serving the dogs but the owners as well. You may quench your thirst and refill your and your dog’s bottles thanks to the simple design making it a compact solution for urban environments.

FRED is easy to install as it comes with all the necessary parts for mechanical connection. Water and sewer are connected under the bowl in a hidden water shaft. Its parts are replaceable in case of failure, and the tap and the water bowl are easy to clean. Besides that, the bowl is highly resistant to dirt, minimizing maintenance requirements in the future.
