Street + Garden, known for their bespoke design expertise, takes their offerings to new heights (literally) with the Highgate Hill Pool Lounge designed by David Shaw, Liam Gillham and Phoebe Caton. This project, encompassing the roof terrace, pool deck, and interior spaces, showcases the firm’s versatility and commitment to creating luxurious yet functional outdoor environments.
The centrepiece of the project is the bespoke lounge suite, an evolution of Street + Garden‘s custom office furniture designed for their headquarters. This innovative design translates to the outdoors, featuring UV-stable upholstery for ultimate durability and showcasing the firm’s refined use of sheet metal. The lightweight aluminium frame, crafted with a seamless “one piece” design, ensures easy manoeuvrability, allowing for flexible arrangement and effortless poolside lounging.
Comfort is paramount, with generous proportions inviting guests to relax and unwind. The suite embodies Street + Garden’s signature style, characterized by clean lines, high-quality materials, and a focus on functionality. This is evident in the meticulous detailing, from the durable upholstery to the lightweight yet sturdy frame.
