The Pyramid Side Table is a combination of modern production and ancient architecture. The latest product from Dennismaass, made in collaboration with Munich-based Studio Lorenz Noelle, is a lightweight 3D-printed modular side table that every house could use. Much like its counterpart, the Pyramic Side Table also features outstanding stability and longevity. And much like the real pyramid, this table also comes with a secret chamber where you can hide all your secret treasures.

Geometrical, minimalist design by Lorenz Noelle
A centrepiece of a room, featuring minimalist design in numerous colourways, easily turns into a functional storage unit as soon as the lid comes off to reveal a hollow space inside. Drawing inspiration from the foundational geometry of ancient Egyptian pyramids, the furniture piece keeps the spirit of its predecessors and their monumental aesthetics.

The minimalist design of the Pyramid Side Table is created with two fused truncated pyramids. The precise clean lines of the table interact with the light to create a constantly shifting shadow across its surfaces. In exchange, this interplay highlights a daring sculptural shape that makes the piece both instantly recognisable and stable.

A hidden chamber made of corks
Under a removable lid, an internal chamber hides, providing a discreet, invisible storage for everyday objects. With dimensions of H 46 cm x W 29 cm x D 29 cm, the side table has enough space for magazines, blankets, books, or other smaller everyday items. The removable lid is made from double-sided polished cork and HPL (High-Pressure Laminate). The material’s warm and natural texture provides a stark contrast to the visually rigorous design of the table.

Thirteen available colourways
The Pyramid Side Table by Dennismaass is available in a whopping 13 colourways, providing plenty of options to choose from. From warm red, terracotta, and yellow tones to cold blue and olive green to neutral black, white, and beige, the multitude of hues allows interior designers to easily fit Pyramid into any design. Furthermore, the clients can opt to purchase several tables of different colours and create playful spatial compositions, or to stack the tables one on top of another to make a striking sculptural installation.

3D-printed Pyramide
The rest of the table is made from PLA plant-based biopolymers through a 3D-printed process conducted by Dennismaass in Stuttgart. This process is responsible for the intricate, indented outer walls that provide both additional stability and nuanced light and shadow modulations. The table is available at Dennismaass’ website and at selected partner retailers and can be acquired for 229.95 €.

Pyramide – a side table with storage, provides a lightweight, minimalist option for modern living spaces. Its simple, yet functional design brings both functionality and visual excitement into any place it inhabits.
