The LEGO Group has pulled back the curtain on its latest creation for the wizarding world, inviting fans to build a beloved location with the LEGO® Harry Potter™ Hogsmeade™ Village – Collectors’ Edition. This large-scale model captures the magical village during winter, giving builders a chance to construct and explore its famous establishments in great detail. It’s a set designed to evoke the cozy, snow-covered atmosphere seen in the Harry Potter films.
A village crafted in brick
From the ground up, the design of this Hogsmeade village focuses on character and authenticity. The entire build, made of 3,228 pieces, is constructed in three main sections that feature seven distinct buildings. The architecture is intentionally imperfect, with carefully designed wonky windows and crooked chimneys that give the village its unique, old-world look. Snow-dusted rooftops complete the wintery setting. For the first time, fans can build LEGO versions of Zonko’s Joke Shop™ and the storied Hog’s Head™ pub, adding new locations to their LEGO Harry Potter™ world. These new structures stand alongside familiar places like the sweet shop Honeydukes™, The Three Broomsticks™ pub, and the Owl Post™, creating a full and lively village street.
Uncovering magical interiors
The attention to detail continues inside. Every door in the village opens to reveal intricately designed rooms filled with tiny, recognizable accessories from the stories. Builders will discover items like Exploding Bon Bons, glasses of Butterbeer™, Sneakoscopes, and a Remembrall placed throughout the various shops and pubs. One of the more clever design features is a portrait of Ariana Dumbledore, which opens to reveal a hidden passage, just as it does in the story. These small touches invite interaction and make the model a source of constant discovery. The set also comes with twelve minifigures, including Harry Potter™, Ron Weasley™, Hermione Granger™, Professor McGonagall™, and Aberforth Dumbledore, to populate the winter scene.
Creating a grand display
This collectors’ edition was made to be a significant display piece. It is built to the same scale as previous large LEGO Harry Potter™ sets, such as the LEGO Diagon Alley™ and LEGO Gringotts™ Wizarding Bank models. This allows collectors to connect the Hogsmeade™ Village to their other sets, building out a much larger and more impressive piece of the wizarding world. The ability for these sets to be physically linked lets fans create a continuous and expansive display that can grow over time.
The Back to Hogwarts celebration
The LEGO Harry Potter™ Hogsmeade™ Village – Collectors’ Edition will be available for LEGO Insiders members starting September 1st, 2025, which coincides with the company’s Back to Hogwarts Day event. The general release will follow on September 4th. As part of the celebration, from September 1st to September 7th, several special gifts with purchase will be available while supplies last.
