Inspired by Football, Designed for Kids – Meet the New Nike x LEGO Collection

Heading: Nike

Less than a week till the beginning of the World Cup 2026, LEGO and Nike Football have teamed up to produce a kids’ shoe and apparel collection inspired by football. Footwear, head-to-toe apparel and accessories feature bold colours and graphics following LEGO Group’s recognisable design language.

Key football silhouettes represent the centrepiece of the collection. Reimagined through a LEGO lens, the silhouettes include Jr. Mercurial Vapour Pro and Academy boots and Jr. Tiempo Streetgato. Mercurial boots’ innovative technology enables incredible speed on the pitch, while the bold design includes a panther-inspired LEGO brick graphic.

Jr. Tiempo Streetgato mixes indoor play with street-ready style. Matching the mentality for small-sided play, the shoes are decorated with a LEGO brick print completed with metallic details.

Aero-FIT

The apparel collection that inspired kids to express themselves off and on the pitch features Aero-FIT kits and sportswear silhouettes. Aero-FIT is the innovative technology for cooling that helps wearers stay dry during intense activities. Aero-FIT jerseys and shorts rock jaguar and poison dart frog motifs while emitting wild energy. Upon closer look, the wearer will notice carefully embedded details, including iridescent badges, as well as LEGO minifigure–inspired elements and photorealistic LEGO brick patterns. The details accentuate Nike’s outstanding technology and reinforce LEGO’s creativity.

Hollywood Keepers

Additionally, the collection reimagines NIKE’s outstanding Hollywood Keepers sportswear collection through LEGO lenses. The collection is inspired by the confidence of the 1990s and early 2000s goalkeepers, adapted for the new generation. In its new LEGO-inspired iteration, the Hollywood Keepers feature a brick design which encourages wearers to be a brick wall in the box.

Air Max 95

Two Air Max 95 sneakers adapted for kids take football culture from the stadium to the streets. Wrapped in animal print patterns and colourful outsole fades, both silhouettes enhance confidence and individuality on and off the stands.

Campaign Fusing Nike Football History With LEGO Creativity

To promote the new shoes, two brands have launched a campaign staring minifigurues by LEGO carrying the giant sneakers available for purchase. Three additional campaign versions, entitled Good vs. Evil, The Mission and Airport, also put minifigures in the spotlight while bringing the collection closer to customers. The minifigures reveal the new collection in a variety of imaginary settings from an airport terminal to football stadiums.

“Nike has always stood for creative, instinctive football. With these films, we wanted the playful spirit of the game to come through. We want kids to be reminded that football is fun. For longtime fans, it’s to be reminded of the joy they felt when they watched their favourite players do these unimaginable things. There’s something for everyone.”
