In the heart of Athens, where modern fashion meets minimalist aesthetics, CK Design Lighting has collaborated with Avgoustidis Constructions to illuminate the ‘Mind Your Style Showroom.’ Nestled within a 250m2 space, this trendy clothing haven caters to the tastes of young shoppers. The project posed challenges, from a constrained timeframe to specific budget limitations. Yet, CK Design Lighting rose to the occasion, crafting a lighting design that not only met but exceeded expectations.
The guiding principle behind the project was simplicity. The client sought a minimalist interior and lighting design, with soft off-white hues setting the tone. Integral to the vision was accentuating the changing rooms with flattering lighting while ensuring the entire space was Instagram-worthy for photography and videography enthusiasts.
CK Design Lighting implemented a strategic approach, utilizing small spotlights with adjustable beam angles to highlight clothing displays. Concealed lighting was seamlessly integrated into furniture elements, casting a soft glow throughout the space. Floor-recessed uplighters lent a subtle gradient effect to the white curtains, adding depth to the showroom’s backdrop. Meanwhile, pendant balls and decorative spike lights added understated charm, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
Behind the scenes, the lighting design firm selected LED fixtures with remote drivers to ensure optimal performance. Special attention was paid to glare reduction and colour accuracy, with luminaires boasting a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) to showcase the vibrant hues of the garments. To cater to the demands of social media content creation, flicker-free drivers were deployed, ensuring seamless capture of the showroom’s beauty. Consistency was key, with a colour temperature of 3000K chosen to complement the showroom’s predominantly white palette.

The showroom’s atmosphere is elevated, with lighting seamlessly accentuating focal points without overpowering the senses.
