The Zurich Design Weeks are Switzerland’s largest design event, attracting more than 27,000 visitors in 2024. Over 18 days, the festival brought together an impressive line-up: 3 partner events, 5 Landmarks, 28 exhibitions and showrooms, 6 Open Studios, 5 Newcomer showcases, 10 workshops, 19 talks and 10 walks across the city, which were a mix of inspiration, encounters and innovation that left audiences looking forward to the next edition.
From September 4–14, 2025, Zurich Design Weeks return for their fourth edition, uniting the Swiss design scene and its international community under the new theme TEAM UP.
The festival is a celebration of collaboration, showing how different perspectives, skills and visions can lead to bold, forward-looking solutions. In today’s interconnected world, design is no longer a solitary process but a collaborative practice that crosses disciplines, cultures and technologies.
With TEAM UP, Zurich Design Weeks invite designers, studios, institutions and visitors to embrace this spirit of cooperation. From interdisciplinary teamwork to global partnerships, the program highlights how working together opens new perspectives. It is not only about design but about building communities that shape the future collectively.
Partner events will again enrich the program. In 2025, these include the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and the Design Biennale Zürich, both playing an essential role in the diversity of the festival.
The audience is as wide as the festival’s scope, reaching everyone who recognises the potential of design to improve the quality of life and provide meaningful answers to contemporary challenges. With its innovative energy and the strength of the Swiss creative industry, Zurich Design Weeks continues its ambition to join the leading design festivals in Europe.
