Explore a Network of Cabins Immersed in a Thermal Wonderland

Lodges are places we go to to have a relaxing time alone with a book, to have a nice time with friends, or to feel bliss with a loved one. Such a dynamic type of accommodation only needs one thing to truly be able to house so many nice moments: comfort and aesthetics

The Preistoriche Green Lodge is comprised of eight fully equipped lodges that provide a dreamlike atmosphere to guests. Built on low stilts in the woods of a thermal park, the lodges give guests the opportunity to relax while also feeling completely integrated into the indoor/outdoor experience.

Designed by Studio Apostoli, with Alberto Apostoli as lead designer, the lodges are great examples of sustainable design with exceptional architectural elements. The many lodges in the complex are connected by suspended wood walkways, creating a sort of contemplative path through nature and an ecosystem between guests and the trees.

Trees truly have the spotlight in this project, having been part of the concept and development. In the end, the complex was built around them, and they are featured in the individual lodges. They create not only a visual integration with the surrounding environment but also an emotional and sensory one.

The Preistoriche Green Lodge‘s design is meant to share an alternative lifestyle where people are deeply connected with nature, a recent trend in hospitality. Through thoughtful design and use of materials, guests can feel comfortable even when away from urban environments where they can get everything they want and need. Showing how easy and good it feels to be around nature not only helps create a more heightened eco-consciousness among people, but, in the future, can actually become the norm.
