The Geely Galaxy E5 is among the latest International Design Awards winners due to its innovative look, bringing all the newer design trends into the car industry. Geely Design designed this electric SUV for global markets, having developed it through the brand’s intensive research and design resources.
The details
The exterior of this SUV can be described as minimalist, as it incorporates smooth surfaces, integrated lighting elements, and a streamlined body. The front features a closed grille flanked by narrow, angular headlights, and the rear includes a full-width taillight with a sculpted bumper.
The Geely Galaxy E5’s dashboard has a horizontal layout with a floating central screen, complemented by a digital driver’s display and a center console equipped with a rotary dial and hidden storage compartments. The cabin materials and colors were chosen to create a neutral and spacious atmosphere, with wide, comfortable seats and a panoramic sunroof.
The inspiration
The SUV’s design was inspired by the qualities of porcelain, which are reflected in the smooth transitions between surfaces and the detailing.
