Crysto, a new lighting collection designed by Alessandro Scandurra for iGuzzini, combines visual comfort and sophisticated aesthetics. With its recognisable circular shape, Crysto lamps create a continuous, soft, all-encompassing light output best suited for illuminating the outdoors of hospitality and residential projects.
Diffused light
The perception of light is amplified by a diffuser that creates subtle effects of transparency and shadow. When turned on, the diffuser creates an even and enclosing light, providing a soft and refined visual presence to the lamp. But once switched off, the diffuser reveals textures and layered material arrangements.
Lighting modes and mounting versions
Crysto is available in three versions: ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted, or pendant light. Colour palette ranges from white and grey to green, rust brown and black, while four colour temperatures ensure flexibility of the design. Crysto offers three different lighting modes,
- Wall R360° – uniform radial distribution that creates a radial effect through the use of reflected light;
- Ceiling General Light – illuminates the screen with diffused light, providing homogeneous light distribution
- Ceiling Beam Angles – the best choice for porches and partly open spaces. Its interchangeable optics (spot, medium and flood) allow for an exceptionally controlled light distribution, featuring beams with defined angles.
Boosting up to 67 lm/W luminous efficacy, paired with up to 550 lm of brightness and a diameter of 163 mm, the Crysto by iGuzzini offers plenty of opportunity for customisation and installation. DALI-2, a standardised digital protocol for intelligent lighting control, enables dimming and advanced lighting management.
IP and IK ratings
With an IP66 rating, Cryso is protected against dust and water, ensuring reliable performance even in dirt, rain, and harsh weather conditions. IK07 rating offers strong protection from accidental drops and other mechanical impacts. Designed to last for years, the lamp reduces waste and the carbon footprint connected to the frequent replacement of products. The lamp is easy to dismantle and repair, supporting sustainability and a circular approach.

iGuzzini lighting solutions
iGuzzini lighting brand was founded in 1959 in Recanati, Italy. Over the past decades, the company illuminated an array of iconic workplaces, cities and cultural heritage sites, including the Georges Pompidou Centre for Art and The Last Supper mural housed in the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan.
