BLT Built Design Awards 2025 Approaching Deadline for Architects and Creatives

The BLT Built Design Awards are entering their final weeks, with the submission deadline set for September 10, 2025. Dedicated to honoring excellence in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and construction products, the BLT Awards shine a spotlight on the people and projects that are shaping the future of the built environment worldwide.

Winning a BLT Award is widely regarded as an international mark of distinction. Beyond the prestige of the title, laureates gain global media exposure, exclusive features in D5 Magazine, permanent visibility on the BLT website, inclusion in the annual Book of Design, and the iconic BLT trophy. For design professionals and firms, the award offers a unique opportunity to raise their profile, inspire their teams, attract new clients, and strengthen their presence on the global stage.

Each year, the BLT Awards jury brings together leading voices from across the industry, ensuring a rigorous and diverse evaluation process. Among this year’s new jurors are Tran Ngoc Danh, Vice President of VDAS Vietnam Design Association and Founder of the VMARK Vietnam Design Award, a key figure in building Vietnam’s design community; Cas Esbach, founder of KANS and professor at SCAD, whose research explores the role of AI in architectural authorship; Muhammad Habsah, Design Director at U+A, recognized for his socially conscious projects across the GCC and Africa; and Rudi Stouffs, Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore, advancing sustainable urbanism and computational design. They are joined by acclaimed professionals, including Mona Vijaykumar of Perkins&Will, Sandra Baggerman of Trahan Architects (USA), Serhii Makhno of MAKHNO Studio (Ukraine), and Hannah Churchill of hcreates interior design (China), together forming an international jury with unmatched expertise.

The winners of the 2025 edition will be celebrated at the BLT Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on November 21st, 2025, at Elisabethenkirche in Basel, Switzerland, a landmark cultural venue and striking example of adaptive reuse architecture. The evening will bring together design leaders, innovators, and media from around the world to honor the projects and people driving excellence in the built environment.

Astrid Hébert, Program Director of the BLT Built Design Awards, said:
“The BLT Awards give visibility to work that has the power to inspire, influence, and move the industry forward. Entering the competition is a way to share your vision with a global audience and connect with peers and clients who value innovation and creativity. With the final deadline on September 10, I encourage every architect, designer, and creative team to submit their work and join us in Basel this November as we celebrate the best in the built environment.”

The final deadline for entries is September 10, 2025. Submissions can be made at www.bltawards.com.
