Adidas and Moon Boot have teamed up for a second and final time to release a collection that looks straight out of a sci-fi movie. Launched worldwide on November 20, 2025, this new drop mixes technical materials with a playful, space-age look. To show off the gear, the brands tapped former French football star Djibril Cissé and Swedish cross-country skiing champion Frida Karlsson, proving that these pieces work just as well for an athlete as they do for a fashion fan in the city.

From the Alps to the sidewalk
The main idea behind this release is to take gear meant for the mountains and make it wearable for city streets. The design team focused on a “cool-tone” colour palette that feels wintry and modern. The standout piece is undoubtedly the Adidas x Moon Boot puffer jacket. It borrows the oversized, chunky look of the famous Moon Boot footwear and translates it into outerwear. The jacket features a high-shine, reflective finish that catches the light, giving it a futuristic feel while keeping the wearer visible and warm.
For the women’s apparel, the collection offers versatile layering options. The range includes full-length leggings, long-sleeve tops, and shine onesies available in black and purple. These aren’t just for show; they are built for movement. A clever detail is the integrated thumb holes in the sleeves, which help keep hands warm and stop sleeves from bunching up under the heavy puffer jackets.

Space-age footwear updates
You cannot collaborate with Moon Boot without talking about shoes. This collection introduces two reinvented silhouettes that combine Adidas tech with the padded comfort of Moon Boot. First is the Moon Boot Ultraboost. It keeps the responsive BOOST sole that runners love but adds a new, versatile lacing system inspired by hiking and winter trekking.
The second model is the Moon Boot ACE. This shoe uses the Adidas Lightstrike midsole, known for being lightweight, and pairs it with a winter-ready padded upper. It is a smart mix of a sneaker and a snow boot, designed to handle cold urban environments without feeling heavy or clunky.

The faces of the mission
The campaign is shot by French photographer Julien Boudet and his studio, Bleu Mode. Boudet is famous for mixing sports, hip-hop, and car culture in his work, and that influence shows here. He captures Djibril Cissé and Frida Karlsson posing with the Tardigrade 2.0, a conceptual drivable space vehicle built by Hookie. This prop helps drive home the lunar exploration theme.
Cissé was chosen for his bold fashion sense. He has always been a disruptor in football and culture, bringing an unapologetic energy that matches the loud design of the puffer jackets. On the other side, Frida Karlsson brings the sporting credibility. As a rising star in cross-country skiing, she represents the discipline and drive of winter sports. Her involvement reminds buyers that, despite the shiny fabrics and street style looks, these items are rooted in performance.

This final capsule from Adidas and Moon Boot successfully closes their partnership by looking forward. They managed to take the practical need for warmth and turn it into something expressive and fun. By ignoring the rules of traditional winter wear and leaning into a space-travel aesthetic, they created a uniform for anyone ready to brave the cold in style. The collection is available in stores and online starting November 20, 2025.
