Theo is a sculptural armchair that invites people to relax and linger on its ergonomic high back. Designed by Brazilian designer Lucas Bond as a place for pause and deep comfort, the chair offers support and presence during daily rituals of sitting, reading, and resting.
A one-piece wood frame and a sheltering backrest
Inspired by the birth of his son Theo, Bond envisioned a chair that would adapt to various meaningful phases of life. The THEO armchair favours minimalism rather than unnecessary decorations. Its structure is expressed with clarity, celebrating a solid wood language with honest materiality and skilled joinery. The chair measures 91 cm x 76 cm x 86 cm. A one-piece solid wood frame draws an uninterrupted outline around the piece, emerging from a single sculptural element. The high shell backrest envelops the sitter, evoking a sense of shelter.
Comfortable, ergonomic design
The slightly inclined design, together with supportive armrests, leads the user into a relaxing, ergonomic posture. Alongside a cosy, high backrest and a generous seating area, the leather upholstery provides THEO with additional comfort. The chair offers its users continuous support, while cushioned arms increase stability and encourage lingering for prolonged periods of time.

Due to its versatility, the THEO armchair easily fits into numerous spaces and daily routines.
