DesignDays Berlin is a new design format founded by Angelika Müller from H.O.M.E Design Magazine and Monika Dagrée, head of on time PR. The event will take place between September 24th and 26th, 2026, to celebrate 20 years since Berlin was named UNESCO City of Design. DesignDays Berlin honours Berlin’s creative energy and will present new trends in interior design, craft, and architecture.
Opening, breakfasts and business opportunities
The official opening will take place on September 23, as selected guests from the areas of interiors, design, architecture, culture and media get together at the opening dinner. The following day will start with iF Design x H.O.M.E. Breakfast offering insights and networking opportunities to design industry professionals at LIVING BERLIN. Another breakfast will take place at Hidden Fortress, where MATER, a green–tech design brand, will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The visitors will be able to explore the company’s journey from early collaborations to its new patented material technology that turns waste into materials of the future.
Visitors will have an opportunity to win prizes by taking a Polaroid with the Delfinen modular sofa, a new design by Sweef Germany. And while Occhio launches its new collection of portable luminaires, JAB ANSTOETZ group will display the full scope of its textile-driven portfolio. on time PR will host a curated selection of brands and products, including ROMO, Mepal and Ekomia.
V-ZUG Studio Berlin invites attendees to discover V-ZUG premium appliances and seamless resin flooring by Senso through an exciting curated exhibition. BERLINRODEO art and design lab will celebrate its 20th anniversary, while the COR furniture manufacturer will celebrate its classic pieces made between 1970s-1990s with accompanying cocktails and music. The day will end with the reopening of Bang & Olufsen showrooms and a foldt x SKS high-end appliance products showcase in an ephemeral bar setting. The AI Summit for brands in design, architecture, and interiors premieres at the CUPRA City Garage on September 24 and will end on the following day.
Workshops and coffee tasting
Second day programming begins with The Makers’ morning design workshop organised by Unique Factory Berlin and is followed by a special coffee tasting and exhibition where people will be able to learn more about its history and special selections. September 25 will host an array of DesignDays. Berlin talks. A special emphasis will be given to trends in hospitality design, retailer perspective, elderly living, sustainability, craft, industrial design and bathroom design.
Everything good comes to an end
The final day of the event will be dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Rolf Benz seating manufacturer. The closing party is scheduled for 18:30, while the Finissage will take place in the Deutsches Design Museum, at Konstantin Grcic’s STREETWISE exhibition.
Most events at DesignDays Berlin are free to attend, but require online registration. The event will turn galleries, showrooms, and other venues across Berlin into spaces for ideas, objects, and professionals shaping the future of design.
