Numerous textures and colour options
Sustainable LED cylinders offer limitless possibilities of personalisation. An array of textures and colours to choose from includes a whopping 9 standard housing colours and 5 trim colours (including black, white, pink, to name a few), alongside 13 on-demand designer colours. Available in 2″, 3″, and 6″ diameters, the Sustainable LED cylinders come in 7 shade textures from standard micro-woven to vertical fluted textures and honed iced out.
Every lighting fixture contains an integral LED light engine with an excellent Colour Rendering Index of 90+ CRI that makes colours appear vibrant and lively. Four colour temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K) are distributed through four options: Spot, Medium, Narrow Flood, and Flood, which allow designers to shape the ambience and mood. Two light levels of 1000lm and 1500lm allow for adjustable brightness. Sustainable LED cylinders can be used as accent lighting or clustered together to create stunning installations, making them ideal for retail, hospitality and office applications.
3D printed from recycled and circular materials
Beyond aesthetics, the Sustainable LED cylinders embody the company’s responsible design philosophy. PrentaLux 3D-printed parts are produced with at least 75% recycled or bio-circular materials, making use of additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing. By opting to create lighting fixtures from bio-circular materials, Cooper Lighting Solutions reduced environmental impact without compromising quality.
The 3D-printed components are made from recycled or bio-circular materials sourced through ISCC PLUS-certified mass-balance systems. Materials include tall oil from wood processing and recycled used cooking oil, giving waste materials a new life.
Reducing transport emission
The lights are produced locally and on demand, lowering transport emissions and creating only as many light pendants as needed without excess inventory. Designs use up to 40% fewer components, which simplifies assembly and disassembly.
The environmental impact is further reduced with easy-to-transport lightweight construction and the objects’ prolonged lifespan. The high-efficiency LED engines also preserve energy. All ingredients are listed in the Declare labelling, ensuring transparency. Sustainable LED Cylinders are made without glue, paint or potting, making them easier to repair and recycle.
