The line-up brings Arcanine, Rayquaza and Munchlax to shelves as build-and-display models, alongside a large Poké Ball set and a supersized figure of the Trainer Red. For the first time, the range includes Pokémon Trainer minifigures, the small articulated figures that have been part of LEGO play since the 1970s.

“Pokémon is such a beloved franchise with an incredibly passionate global community, and the response to our LEGO Pokémon sets so far has been extraordinary.”

Three Pokémon, brick by brick

The largest of the creature builds is Arcanine, a fire-type Pokémon from the original Kanto region games. In this drop, it is recreated across 1,190 pieces as a fully posable display model that recreated its powerful stance and signature fur.

Rayquaza, one of the series’ Legendary Pokémon, follows at 1,083 pieces. Its build recreates the Sky Pillar scene from the games Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, with the serpentine dragon coiling around the tower, and includes an exclusive minifigure of Lorekeeper Zinnia, a character from those same games.

Munchlax, the smallest of the three at 757 pieces, stands over 18 cm high with a posable head and arms. Its well-documented appetite wasn’t forgotten, as the set comes with an assortment of brick-built treats.

Inside the Poké Ball

The spotlight of the launch is the Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball, a 2,368-piece build of the series’ famous catching device, made to open and close. Inside, the set includes scenes from a Trainer’s journey, among them a battle and Professor Oak’s laboratory, along with three minifigures: Professor Oak, a Picnicker and Red, the hero of the earliest Pokémon games. Small figures of Pikachu and Eevee complete the cast.

Red also gets a set of his own: the Up-Scaled Red Minifigure rebuilds the Trainer at large scale from over 930 pieces, complete with his red hat, blue trousers, backpack, pin-badged vest and a Poké Ball, with posable arms and legs and a rotating head.

Two release waves

The launch comes a month after the reveal of twelve LEGO Pokémon SMART Play sets aimed at children, which, much like the five sets, arrives to the LEGO sotre on the 1st of August 2026.

“We’re proud to continue inspiring discovery and creativity through new launches such as these.”
