On May 16, 2026, Li Auto unveiled its flagship car, named All-New Li L9, in China. The car comes in two versions, the Ultra edition and the Livis edition. Unlike the Chinese market, where the deliveries have already begun for both editions, the official global launch is expected in Q3 2026. The global International Exclusive Version for overseas market models will feature comprehensive localisation adaptations, and the global launch will start in Central Asia and the Middle East, and then move onward.

The All-New Li L9 specification
The All-New Li L9 boasts a third-generation extended-range system, allowing for a 420 km pure-electric range with an additional 1,650 km of combined range. The car is equipped with an 800V active suspension chassis, which auto-adjusts the vehicle’s suspension and ride height in real time, and steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering for greater vehicle control. Inside a spacious six-seat cabin lies a modern smart cockpit with a 29-inch panoramic screen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 platform. These are the core features of All-New Li L9 models that will remain in all models, including the International Exclusive Version.
Colours and models
All-New Li L9 adopts a “future icon” design philosophy created for the new era of embodied AI. The design and generous volume result in a more commanding, sophisticated, and advanced appearance of the new SUV. The buyers of the L9 Livis model can pick between an array of finishes, such as:
- Truffle Gold / Titanium Gold,
- Purple / Titanium Gold,
- Green / Titanium Gold,
- and Black / Titanium Gold
International Exclusive Version of All-new Li L9
According to Li Auto, some of the local adaptations of the upcoming All-New Li L9 International Exclusive Version will include:
- global charging compatibility
- durability improvements
- local mapping and traffic service navigation
- email-based Li Auto App for international users
- performance adapted to local climate conditions
- and a localized infotainment system that will be constantly developed via over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Together, these adaptations will make the All-New Li L9 drive more intuitive, and the user experience more seamless and compliant with systems outside of China. The International Exclusive Version of the new model is a part of Li Auto’s two-pillar strategy, which includes both Chinese and international markets. Started in 2025, the strategy has accelerated greatly in 2026.
