Sold under the name GANNI x New Balance 1906L, the sneaker is a groundbreaking hybrid that combines the uncombinable to mirror the individuality of those who support the two brands. By combining the comfortable slip-on structure of a loafer with the athleticism of a runner, the new product offers a rebellious twist on traditional trainers.
The design boldly incorporates a rubber sole with GANNI’s trademark snake prints and chromatically rich palette. Silver details overlap with glossy black patent overlays all the way from the pull tab at the heel, to the round toe tip. A loafer-style strap at the front boasts a metal butterfly logo typical of GANNI, juxtaposed to a metal New Balance logo. Inspired by unapologetic individuality and a multifaceted look, the GANNI x New Balance 1906L pushes the boundaries of sneaker design.
Adding rhythm to the style with Samara Cyn
Samara Cyn, one of the emerging new talents in the music industry, joins the collaboration as the face of the collection. The campaign shot for Dazed by photographer Iris Luz and styled by Kat Ambrozak explores self-expression as an undeniable feature of those who dress for themselves and refuse to be defined by others. For the promo photoshoot, the American rapper is wearing the Fall/Winter 2025 collection’s runway shoes presented initially during the Fashion Week in Paris. The sneakers ooze with recognizable hybrid energy of the collaboration that embodies both an expressive statement outfit and the quiet, effortlessly smart persona. The collection will particularly appeal to all who appreciate sculptural tailoring, colorful prints, and tactility.
