Riyadh’s design sector is preparing for a landmark week in September 2025. From 9 to 11 September, the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center will host both INDEX Saudi Arabia and the Lighting Design & Technology Expo. Organised by dmg events, the two trade fairs run concurrently from 4 pm to 10 pm daily and together create one of the most comprehensive sourcing platforms in the region.
Now in its latest edition, INDEX Saudi Arabia has become the Kingdom’s most significant stage for interior design. According to the organiser, the show “builds inspiring bridges between the worlds of hospitality, commercial and residential interiors”. Visitors can meet hundreds of international and local brands and source products across nine sectors: from furniture and furnishings to accessories, fit‑out services, textiles, and workspace solutions. More than 17,000 qualified buyers and 360 exhibitors representing over 40 countries are expected, and the event programme features 80+ speakers and design tours that explore key trends and innovations.
The co‑located Lighting Design & Technology Expo is the only dedicated lighting trade event in Saudi Arabia. It runs alongside INDEX from 9–11 September at the same venue and serves as a premier sourcing and networking hub for lighting professionals. Organised by dmg events, the expo attracts global solution providers and decision‑makers from sectors including lighting design, architecture, and system integration. Exhibitors will showcase innovative lighting systems, decorative fixtures, and solutions for both indoor and outdoor applications, such as sensors, dimmers, programmable lighting controls, and connected LED systems. The event is timed to meet growing demand for energy‑efficient lighting as Saudi Arabia pursues innovative city projects under Vision 2030.
Dmg events emphasises that combining INDEX Saudi Arabia with the Lighting Design & Technology Expo “creates an immersive experience that brings together the diverse worlds of design and lighting in Saudi Arabia“. For architects, interior designers, facility managers, and project owners, it means the opportunity to discover furnishings, finishes, and lighting solutions under one roof. The synergy also reflects how integrated lighting is becoming in contemporary interiors, from hospitality suites to workspace and residential environments.
Together, these co‑located fairs are set to become a focal point for design innovation in the region. For professionals seeking to source products, keep abreast of trends, or network with industry leaders, INDEX Saudi Arabia and the Lighting Design & Technology Expo will provide three concentrated days of inspiration and commerce in the heart of Riyadh.
