At its latest product event held in Beijing under the theme “New Beginnings”, Xiaomi introduced a set of new releases aimed at the domestic market: the YU7 smartphone series, the MIX Flip 2 foldable phone, the Pad 7S Pro 12.5 tablet, and a broad range of wearables and AIoT products spanning personal tech and smart living.
The MIX Flip 2
The MIX Flip 2 joins Xiaomi’s foldable lineup as a compact device built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, pairing high-performance processing with a 5165mAh battery while using a dual-layer cooling system to help manage temperature during use.
Its primary camera features a Leica Summilux lens combined with a Light Fusion 800 image sensor. At the same time, the external 3.5-inch screen supports over 500 apps, offering a more integrated and responsive use of the cover display. When unfolded, the device is 7.57mm thick and weighs 199g, and it comes in four colour options and multiple storage configurations. A Special Edition, matched to the new YU7 series, is also available with more colour and storage options.
This generation also introduces three interactive pets that react to touch and charging, with the added option to generate personalised versions from photos using generative AI that maps facial features onto each pet design.
The Pad 7S Pro 12.5
The Pad 7S Pro 12.5 is Xiaomi’s latest tablet and the first to be powered by the company’s own 3 nm processor, the XRING O1, which runs on HyperOS 2 and is paired with several features focused on mobile productivity.
The 12.5-inch LCD offers a resolution of 3.2K with a peak brightness of 1000 nits and is certified for reduced eye strain with full DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland approvals. Despite a slim 5.8mm unibody metal frame, the tablet includes a 10,610mAh battery that supports both fast charging and reverse charging, while the 32MP front camera and 50MP rear camera support everyday tasks like video calls and content creation.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 support, and a complete set of accessories (keyboards, pen, and case) was designed to extend its use across both work and entertainment scenarios.
The AI Glasses
Xiaomi’s new AI Glasses weigh just 40 g and feature titanium alloy hinges and a frame designed for long-wear comfort, with optional electrochromic lenses that adjust their shade within 0.2 seconds depending on lighting or user preference.
Equipped with a 12MP front-facing camera, dual speakers, and a five-microphone system that supports bone conduction and noise reduction, these glasses are built to capture first-person video, stream in real time, or handle calls and recordings while on the move. Its internal system includes a dual-chip configuration delivering up to 8.6 hours of use.
The glasses support object recognition, real-time translation in ten languages, automatic meeting transcription, and voice-based interactions for tasks like calorie estimates and quick answers, turning the glasses into a compact, AI-enabled tool for everyday use.
The Smart Band 10
The Smart Band 10 marks the tenth generation of Xiaomi’s wearable line and introduces a redesigned 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a narrower bezel and higher refresh rate. The new product comes in metal and ceramic finishes with several strap options, including a silk-knit band.
Beyond fitness tracking, the band adds a 9-axis sensor for more detailed motion capture, along with features like AI-based swim stroke detection, advanced sleep analysis with guided improvement plans, and real-time heart rate broadcasting. It also ties into Xiaomi’s broader AIoT ecosystem, allowing users to control a range of devices through their wrist. Furthermore, a modular desktop dock allows older Xiaomi bands to function as speakers, alarms, or desktop displays when not in use.
The Watch S4 41mm
The Watch S4 41mm is Xiaomi’s first compact smartwatch, featuring a 9.5mm profile and 32g weight, making it more suitable for smaller wrists. The watch features a stainless steel frame and a range of strap options, including rubber, white leather, and a Milanese metal band adorned with a decorative lab-grown diamond on the crown.
New features include animated pet watch faces that adapt to activity levels throughout the day, Bluetooth heart rate broadcasting, and swim tracking, alongside a more accurate 4-LED + 4PD heart rate sensor. Health tracking has been updated through women’s wellness tools, such as skin temperature sensing and cycle prediction. Safety functions are supported by a new emergency mode called Safety Guardian, designed to provide quick access to help if needed.
The OpenWear Stereo Pro
The OpenWear Stereo Pro is Xiaomi’s latest open-ear audio product, boasting a lightweight, skin-friendly silicone design with an ear hook that holds tight, having been tested through over 5,000 flex cycles.
Its five-driver speaker system is tailored for open-ear listening and includes an active sound leakage reduction system that keeps calls more private than what’s usual. Tuned by the Harman Golden Ear Team, the earbuds offer two preset sound profiles. Furthermore, the system supports built-in recording and AI-powered translation and transcription.
