Adidas has unveiled its highly anticipated Adizero Desert Runner collection, celebrating the spirit of resilience and the breathtaking beauty of the Arabian desert.
To mark this momentous launch, Adidas collaborated with acclaimed American artist David Popa to create a 100-meter-wide anamorphic art installation in Sharjah’s Al Madam area, offering a one-of-a-kind visual experience inspired by the desert’s boundless potential.

A fusion of art and nature by David Popa
To bring the Adizero Desert Runner to life, adidas enlisted the talent of David Popa, renowned for his large-scale, site-specific earth murals. Known for his ability to blend natural landscapes with art, Popa created an anamorphic masterpiece that spans 100 meters in the vast, open terrain of Al Madam.
This awe-inspiring installation took a team of three artists and technicians eight days to complete, using eco-friendly and recyclable materials. The artwork reflects the spirit of the Adizero Desert Runner: bold, dynamic, and deeply connected to the environment.
