The LookUp conference and event space, located on the 41st and 42nd floors of the Skyliner skyscraper in Warsaw, was born from MIXD‘s perspective of the air, sky, movement, and asymmetry. The result is a blade-like building that resembles something slicing through the sky to reach untouchable heights.
Skyliner is in the heart of Warsaw’s emerging business district, a former industrial area now rapidly transforming into a vibrant urban hub. The intersection of important communication arteries of the capital and the building itself, which soars into the sky to a height of 195 meters, was also a main contributor to MIXD’s design concept.
Spanning an impressive 830 m², LookUp is home to modern, stylish interiors combined with next-generation multimedia technologies, all while offering breathtaking views of Warsaw’s skyline. The event space, located on the 41st floor and capable of accommodating up to 120 guests, features a mix of neutral materials and three-dimensional elements, including a bar and a suspended ribbon installation.
The dynamic character of LookUp is especially enhanced by its artistic elements and custom installations, which echo the design aesthetic of the Skyliner itself. The interior features copper-colored mirrors, burl veneer, and acoustic solutions that ensure an enjoyable experience without echo interference.

The design by MIXD has definitely drawn attention since LookUp was shortlisted in the prestigious Hospitality Design Awards 2024 for the best event space category. Furthermore, it achieved the coveted title at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2024, winning the Surface Interior category for Europe.
