Hyperion Group has recently announced the leasing launch of Lumaire, a new rental tower located in Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. The building targets renters who know that luxury is their favorite design element, allowing them to choose to live among it in settings ranging from studios to three-bedroom units.
Lumaire is a 23-story development featuring 457 units, all designed in collaboration with the New York-based firm CetraRuddy. Each unit is an open living space filled with windows, quartz countertops, and European-style kitchens. DesignBAR, an interior design firm from Coconut Grove, also contributed to the design of the building’s amenity spaces, which cover over 40,000 square feet.
“We’ve taken the best elements of the unique setting—opportunities for indoor-outdoor living and incredible city and water views—and layered in a serene, modern sensibility.”
Ximena Rodriguez, Principal at CetraRuddy
The building’s architectural design, led by Carl Levin Architecture + Design (CLA+D) and architect Alfonso Jurado, made Lumaire one of the tallest buildings in Downtown West Palm Beach. This is CetraRuddy’s first project in the Palm Beaches, and the firm has designed the homes for some of the biggest names, including Harry Styles and Jennifer Lawrence, at 443 Greenwich. To take advantage of the height, which would provide amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Clear Lake, the apartments begin above the seventh floor. On the lower levels of the building, the architects added grey patterning and screened textures, which offer a visual transition from day to night. In contrast, the balcony structure adds dimension to the exterior.
“Given the project’s unique, ideal location, we strategically maximised the views and indoor-outdoor spaces at the tower so that residents can get the most out of South Florida’s favourable year-round weather and the beautiful water vistas surrounding them.”
Carl Levin, Owner of Carl Levin, Architecture+Design
Renters will have access to more than just their private space, as Lumaire offers luxurious amenities on the seventh floor. These amenities include an outdoor lounge adjacent to a pool, a fitness center, and recreational spaces like a bocce lawn and a yoga area. There are also social spaces such as a gaming lounge, a private screening room, and a library where coworking is celebrated. As an extra, the building houses a pet grooming salon, a sports simulator, and a billiards lounge with a kitchenette for hosting events.
“As Downtown West Palm Beach evolves into ‘Wall Street South,’ Lumaire is a distinctive residential offering for the sophisticated renter.”
Rob Vecsler, Principal and CEO of Hyperion Group
