What’s more, all three have won in the Interior Design Cocktail Bar category at the LIV Hospitality Design Awards, proving their originality and uniqueness.

Fin’s Bar at The Lodge Jamberoo

Located in Jamberoo, NSW, Australia, Fin’s Bar is an ideal spot for sipping cocktails on an alluring night with friends and family. Its eclectic design is rich in details with dark blue being the main color of the interior. As the place is dimly lit, it encourages the secluded ambiance creating a relaxing atmosphere for visitors to relax and enjoy their night lounging around the fireplace or sitting at a bar.

The variety of materials and textures blends with the classical harmony throughout the Fin’s Bar and is seen in every detail of the space designed by Studio BARBARA. The lead designer Benjamin Selke was able to achieve the feeling of a nocturnal journey with subtle notes of French influence and enchantment of the retro in modern design.

The Alchemist

As Berlin is known for its glorious and diverse nightlife, arguably often being titled “the clubbing capital of Europe”, the list would not be complete without at least one of its bars. Award-winning The Alchemist, a project designed by Blacksheep, is the latest addition to the city’s bar scene.

Located in Potsdamer Platz, The Alchemist is a place worth exploring. Its opulent interior draws guests into a theatrical atmosphere with polished details. The antique brass bar is the centerpiece of the space, highlighted by lighting rods, it instantly attracts visitors’ attention.

The metallic chain curtains frame the ceiling throughout the bar, adding structure to the project. On the side of the bar is the logo of the place. Consisting of the Alchemical symbols it lights up the wall adding a celestial touch to the place with such an ethereal name.

4TH WALL

Have you ever wanted to go back to the past? If the answer is yes, now you have a chance to actually teleport to the 1960s by visiting the 4th Wall. Located in Bangkok, Thailand, this retro-styled bar is a mixture of Bauhaus, Modernism, Brutalism, and Postmodernism styles combined, creating its unique retro-futuristic ambiance.

The interior is straight out of a movie scene from the ’60s cinema with orange-green hues from postmodernism. By melding textures with a brutalist color palette, lead designer Kijtanes Kajornrattanadech from Taste Space created a playful atmosphere with high-gloss, retro-styled TVs adding to the feeling of nostalgia in the bar’s design. While retro-chromed bulbs and curved forms complete the avant-garde design.
