Having first unveiled their official partnership earlier this year, adidas Originals and brand 100 Thieves recently released their collaborative collection.
Founded in 2017 by gaming icon Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, 100 Thieves has established itself as the premium lifestyle brand for the gaming generation, with a mission to be the epicenter of gaming culture and to give every gamer something to be proud of. 100 Thieves, fronted by digital creators Valkyrae and CouRageJD, is built on three pillars: championship esports, entertainment, and apparel.
The first collection consists of a daring suite of apparel, footwear, and accessories. The apparel selection features the previously announced competition jersey – with sponsor logos removed – in men’s and women’s sizing. Moreover, there is a 100 Thieves’ take on the classic adidas tracksuit presented as a matching half-zip track top and track pants in brushed cotton terry. Rounding out the selection of apparel and accessories is a classic white tee with an embroidered logo, a 3-pack of socks in 100 Thieves colors, and a co-branded towel.
The collection is then highlighted by 100 Thieves’ take on an iconic adidas sneaker: the Rivalry Nadeshot. With a tonal off-white upper, gum rubber outsole, and co-branded details including lace charms and sock liners, as well as Nadeshot logos on the right heel mustache and tongues, the daring look is the 100 Thieves founder’s first-ever collaborative sneaker.
The collaborative collection between adidas Originals and 100 Thieves is a milestone in the evolution of the gaming cultures. Blending fashion and functionality, the collection celebrates the unique identity of 100 Thieves and sets a new precedent for representing the gaming industry.
